The Queen's Hall has stood as a proud landmark in Wigan since 1907, bearing witness to countless stories and historical moments. With its rich and varied history, it has been more than just a building—it's been a cornerstone of our community. You can explore its storied past here.

In recent years, we have been addressing a persistent challenge: the encroachment of trees and vegetation around our cupola. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have been unable to prevent significant damage to the stonework in this area.

As a Grade II listed building, the Queen's Hall is a piece of our heritage, and it is imperative that we repair the façade with the utmost care and respect for its historical significance.

If these issues are not resolved soon, we may be forced to vacate the building due to health and safety concerns—a scenario we are determined to avoid.

Now more than ever, there is an urgent need for action to restore and preserve this iconic structure. Additionally, there are further improvements that could greatly enhance the Hall, ensuring it remains a vibrant part of Wigan for generations to come.

To ensure the Queen's Hall remains a vibrant part of Wigan for generations to come, we are launching a fundraising campaign. The funds raised will go directly towards the essential repairs and other improvements that will greatly benefit the Hall.

We invite you to be part of this crucial effort. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal of preserving this historic landmark. Together, we can safeguard the Queen's Hall and its legacy for future generations.
